Lotus Plaza performs “Untitled” & “Strangers” at Glasslands Gallery, Brooklyn

Here is the two opening tracks from Lotus Plaza’s 2012 Kranky release “Spooky Action at a Distance.” Somehow I wasn’t able to separate the tracks from each other as they are so linked in the way I have experienced this album. It sets this perfect tone for all that comes next.

In case you were unaware Lotus Plaza is Deerhunter guitarist Lockett Pundt’s solo project. I’ll admit I still had my last Deerhunter experience from late 2011 rattling around in my head during this show. As a result my mind was quite easily launched into the stratosphere where this music is meant to take you. I hope you find your way there too through these lovely six minutes.
